Roasted Green Beans
Step out for a bit from the boring steamed green beans and spice it up with these easy roasted bad boys!
They are super flavourful and you can serve them as a fancy side dish or enjoy them on their own!
300gr green beans, tough ends removed
1 tbsp grapeseed oil (or olive oil)
1 tbsp tamari (or soy sauce)
2 tbsp sesame seeds
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp chili flakes
1/2 tsp ground turmeric
Preheat oven to 210c
Transfer your green beans into a cast iron skillet or baking dish, add oil and the rest of the spices, mix them around to make sure they are all covered
Slide them in the oven for around 20min, stirring halfway trough, you want them to be roasted but not dry, so keep and eye on them
Serve immediately as a side dish or by themselves, enjoy!
